this article i found is by Read Write Mobile- its a website design to write about new apps each month. This month they posted about Instagram app for iphones- its an app to share and edit images. Another app they wrote about is Foursquare which is a location based social network, kind of like facebook or twitter but more local. In this article its say there are 225,000 mobile applications for the iPhone now and 70,000 for Android. Thats crazy!
Going along with what was talked about in class on wed. the word -ability. Thinking about apps, the word that comes to my mind in terms of-ability is accessibility. accessibility or "ability to access" means having the ability to communicate with or enter, be exposed to something. In the app world anything can be right at your finger tips. You have access to so much through apps, whether its finding local restaurants, getting directions, listening to music, new drink recipes or connecting with people through social networks. Apps give people that sense of accessibility to the world!
